SOLO is crafted entirely from grapes grown in our Stags Leap Vineyard, one of the first three vineyards planted to Cabernet Sauvignon in the appellation. This vineyard contributed significantly to establishing the reputation of the Stags Leap District, the most distinctive Cabernet-growing region in the Napa Valley. SOLO has garnered many awards and accolades over the years. This Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Heritage Clone Cabernet #30 from our Stags Leap Vineyard. Dark inky purple in the glass, this wine offers bold aromas of raspberry, blackberry and violets along with a hint of spicy toasty oak. The fresh berry notes carry over onto the palate and combine with ripe plum, evolving into unsweetened chocolate on the finish. This is a balanced and harmonious wine with a soft lush mouth-feel and a long pleasant finish. It has a long evolution ahead of it in the bottle and will cellar gracefully for 20 years or more. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from our Stags Leap Vineyard, Napa Valley. 18 months in 100 percent French oak, 41 percent new. 1,665 cases were bottled.
