1991 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon 5L

The hallmark of a great Cabernet vineyard is that it produces fine wine year after year, maintaining consistently high quality and asserting its unique character over different vintages.  Originally planted in 1969, Silverado Vineyards was among the first to establish the reputation of the Stags Leap District for fine Cabernet Sauvignon.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
The 1991 vintage had a very late bud break after a record cold winter; a larger crop than 1990, it was a cool spring and summer, with no fall rains, and a late harvest. The wine is not as soft as in 1990, but with a firmer backbone, deeper color, richer.
