In 1877, German immigrant Henry Hagen purchased a Napa vineyard site and named it Cedar Knoll. This was the first vineyard to be planted in the area which would later be known as the Coombsville AVA.

Each year we select distinctive blocks of an extraordinary field selection from this same vineyard and create a special single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon in Henry’s honor.
