In 1978, Ron and Diane Miller purchased the Silverado Vineyard from the See family of California chocolatier fame. Originally planted in 1884, this vineyard was a pioneering site for what would become the Stags Leap District 105 years later. Its modern history is even more important to Napa Valley viticulture.
Here, after two decades of careful cultivation, this exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon selection emerged. This unique “See Selection” is the ancestor of the Silverado FPS 30 clone, cultured by UC Davis and designated as one of only three California Heritage clones of Cabernet Sauvignon. The Miller family is pleased to present this rare bottling of the mother clone, our See Selection Cabernet Sauvignon.
